Tanhaji Malusare was a Maratha warrior from the 17th century. His acts of valor and bravery continued to inspire soldiers long after he lost his life in battle.

Endowed with a body of steel, the courage of a lion and an agile mind, Tanhaji was also one of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj`s closest aides and trusted warriors. Ready to do anything for his King and Swarajya, this braveheart planned a surgical strike to get back the Kondana Fort against the Mughal army headed by Udaybhan.

as a War Movie is an insult to Audience intelligence. Where action sequences shot with absolutely zero consideration 4 basic Physics. Men are walking on t walls parallel 2 ground no logic behind how ropes r able 2 pull them by just being hung on sidewalls of the fort.

Final Verdict -

Excellent screenplay, almost accurate story with minimal exaggeration, no unwanted romances or song and dance sequences, perfectly timed background score, extraordinary visuals and some solid performances by the lead actors makes this movie stand out from the scores of historical dramas made during the last decade, mostly by misrepresentation of facts.

Ajay Devgan gives another power-packed performance, this time as a fierce Maratha warrior, Sharad Kelkar does complete justice to his role of Chhatrapati Shivaji and Saif Ali Khan delivers a solid performance as the Rajput General of Aurangzeb, Udaybhan. Overall movie is good so I give 4.5 stars out of 5
